Julia's Kindermusik class is a fun-filled Sunday learning activity for our family. We sing, dance, listen, interact, play and learn for an hour or more. We learn with Julia and we are able to spend quality time with her. Because we work six days a week, Don and I are committed to attend Julia's class every Sunday morning.
Last Sunday, we had a different kind of learning experience. Kindermusik classes were cancelled that morning so that Teacher Jeannie and her lovely family, Teacher Maya and Teacher Oli can focus on packing relief goods to donate to flood victims in Quezon City and Marikina.
When we arrived, they were almost done packing. Luckily, we were still able to help pack a few items. Julia's classmate, Julian and his family were also there to help.

We had fun, but at the same time we were able to show Julia the value of working together to help those in need. More importantly, Don and I realized that we have a lot to be thankful for and no matter how busy we are, we must give time to help other people.
