{PRESS RELEASE} Little girls get party pretty with Manyika’s holiday collection
Christmas is
the season to look extra adorable and to go all out when it comes to dressing –
especially for the little ones! Manyika is
set to become a new favorite for mini fashionistas
ages 2 to 10, looking to find holiday outfits that will make them feel like real
princesses. The season’s collection makes use of festive elements like glitters
and sequins adorning tops and skirts that will surely get little girls even
more excited. It also has fancy dresses with rosettes and ribbons on tulle
overlay giving a cute and romantic vibe for the picture-perfect tot.
The line is
designed by Monica Padilla, a graduate of Istituto Marangoni in Milan. "I
took inspiration for this collection from things that remind me of the holiday
season—from the sparkle of Christmas lights, shiny tinsel, and
glittered Christmas ornaments. I wanted the pieces to have that
feeling of being ‘party special’. I used a lot of sequined fabrics, tulle and
ribbon applique fabric. The color scheme took inspiration from a floral bouquet
filled with colors from pale pinks, old rose, bold fuchsias and of course
the season's color, red," says Monica, who was formerly a lead designer working
under Hindy Tantoco and other brands.
Manyika satisfy both mommy and child with its design, functionality and affordability. They have all types of clothing that can cater to both casual and dressy occasions. While the clothes are fashionable, they are also still reasonably priced.
