2013 PLDT-SMART Gabay Guro Celebration: My 5 Favorite Moments

The Gabay Guro tribute for teachers last October 26, 2013 at the MOA Arena was F-U-N!  It was my first time to be invited to join this grand celebration and I am so blessed to be part of it.  I am sharing with you my five (5) unforgettable moments during the celebration.

Aside from Marian Rivera, artists from different networks graced the occasion and celebrated with the teachers -- Ogie Alcasid, Martin Nievera, Pops Fernandez, Judy Ann Santos, Ann Curtis, Derek Ramsay, Edu Manzano, Richard Gomez, Ryzza, Matteo Guidicelli, Daniel Matsunaga and a lot more. 

Aside from the Foton multi-purpose van and house and lot from Stateland, Inc., a lot of lucky teachers went home with Cygnal prepaid kits, Sun reload kits and Cyberia livelihood package.

Seeing all the teachers happy, excited and having fun that afternoon was really heart-warming.  I could feel that each and every teacher in the arena felt appreciated and special.  It was certainly the best way to spend Teacher's Month.  The song "Believing In Me" -- written by Raul and Cacai Mitra and sang by Regine Velasquez -- summarizes what is in the heart of every student who is grateful for the dedication and hard work of all the Filipino teachers.
