We love going to University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. Before Julia was born, Don and I go to UP Diliman to run. Well, he runs and I eat squid balls (wearing my running outfit, of course!). Don likes to run there because there is a designated bikers/runners lane within the academic oval. Every Sunday, there is a portion of the academic oval where vehicles are not allowed to pass to give way to the runners and bikers. So, scenic view + fresh air + safety + free entrance = perfect Sunday morning family routine.

Sundays
Julia doesn't go out often because Don and I work from Monday - Saturday. We always tell her that Sunday is her day.
Our Sunday routine is simple. We wake up early and bring Julia to UP Diliman. She loves to embrace her dad as they stroll the UP Academic Oval. UP is runner-biker-family friendly during Sundays. They close a portion of the oval for runners and bikers. They also open the sunken garden for family picnics and get togethers... for free!
